OMG Awsome! (Iron Mines of Moladune)*spoilers*
Ok for those of you who have done this, maybe or maybe not, you found it hard I don't know. But I completed it with just 5 of us in the party and 2 were hench Lina and Aliesa(sp). So it starts out with 8 of us all rushing to get our armor infused as quickly as possible which was fine for us. Everyone was in agreement we were going to infuse and then do mission. One of the guys even stated he knew the mission and would walk us through it. Well that seemed easy enough yet as soon as we were infused... 3 drop... including the one who said he would walk us through. That left me, a lv20 E/Mo a Necro and a warrior, and our two henchwomen. For a few moments we stood there... "should we go on? regroup? At least try this?"
We decided to try and kill Markis. We ran into some lv28 and lv24 bosses and enemies along the way, the hench died a few times but we battled on bravely. Not to brag but I died only once and that was before the infuse. Anyway after some battling we managed to get to Markis surrounded by minions so we pulled them out as well as myself targeting them from afar with meteor shower and firestorm. Soon it was just him and us. "ALRIGHT" we thought... WRONG. He gets two jades to come join him. We take them out and in the process lose our hench, the warrior and the necro. So I use Rebirth cause I'm out of range and draw the necro and warrior back to me, then res the hench. Its just Markis and the 5 of us now so we go where the jades came out and killed him on the spot... only to have two jade's appear. Oh well we kill them to and it comes down to me and the necro alive and one jade left. It was him or us and was VERY VERY close to the end. I was low on health and energy, I bet the necro was to. But we prevailed and killed im.
So everyone out there, don't give up if people leave the group. WE DID IT! only 3 of us attacking and sure they died but the henchwomen helped us out to. Now I'm infused and its all good to go. Thanks you guys if you read this, I can't name names but I could never have done it without you guys!

It's also a fairly easy mission. It's like they didn't even try to make it tough, once you're infused it's quite simple to just clear the entire map of Mursaat.

perhaps but when your down to three targets for the many Mursaat to attack, it gets rather difficult. infusion does not make you invincible.

If you go through the mission correctly, the only mursaat you fight are at the end, with the only boss being an Azure on the infusion path.

well apparently we didn't do it the "right way" because we ran into several bosses along the way and it certainly is not easy to get to the part where you get infused. All of us originally died trying to get there, we succeeded initially because when the last person died, he triggered the infuse CGS which brought the rest of us back to life.

lol well we didn't even discuss trying to find out what the bonus was... we just wanted to see if we could beat the mission. Its a good thing we had that warrior to. I got a lot of respect for them as they hold the enemy in one place while I nuke the heck out of them.

Yes! Congrats indeed.
Two of the best Fissure Runs I've ever been to had 7 players (it lasted for 5 hours and we gave up because we've had enough of it.) and the other had only 5 players and we accomplished a lot.
We have to at least try even when the odds seem against us.

The main problem with Iron Mines is that despite you getting infused during it, the Henchman don't count as infused until the next mission. Meaning Spectral Agony will still kill them off easily. Other than that minor quibble, its not too terribly bad.
Thats a fairly impressive achievement on your part, with only one other infused person in the group.

My last infusion run took place because i bought a new piece of armour (yes one) and i wanted that infused too.
Several of the team members dropped, like the OP's team and we continued to kill markis.
He wasn't there!!
"WTF? Where is he?" "Not spawned?"
We decided to continue anyway and just go hunting mursaat and anything else we could find.
We eventually found markis hiding under a tree a long way up the path. We killed the crafty hermit and looted his ravaged festering corpse and continued on way.

Well Markis made it back home when I faced him but yeah we felt pretty proud of beating him. I even took a screen shot to prove it was just three of us unfused and 2 hench healers.
of course I'm still failing shiverpeak stragglers quest... but thats another story for another day.

That would explain why my henchmen were dropping like mosquitoes in a DDT factory for the entire mission. More than once (like, maybe, at least half a dozen times), I was the only person alive, and had to res the entire party (I took only henchmen). I also took the "bonus" route after getting infused (mostly because I was looking for the two necro bosses for skill capping), figuring the henchmen would be able to handle the Jades and Mursaat. They died fast, and they died often. Luckily, I did not -- I really didn't want to have to start the mission over. I finished with a 10% morale bonus, while I'm sure the rest of them had to have a permanent -60%.
